Reviving the memories of the Delhi gangrape of December 16 last year, a woman was brutally raped-murdered by five men in Bhopal on Friday. After the heinous act they shoved an iron rod into her vagina.
The deceased victim works as a domestic help and she was an occasional cook too.
Five men, who allegedly raped the woman were arrested by Bhopal police after they learnt she worked as a cook at their house in Vijay Nagar.
Police said, “The victim’s half-naked and decomposed body was found outside Vijay Nagar colony. Her body was lying in a pool of blood.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Parvati. She went missing on Tuesday after which her husband lodged a complaint.
Parvati’s husband said, “She used to return home by 4pm. When she didn’t come back even after 8pm I lodged a complaint with police.”
