Bhubaneshwar: A visually challenged girl studying in class IV was found murdered near her village on Thursday.
The girl's semi nude body was found in a forest. Her death sparked tension in the locality as villagers blocked the Puri-Korak road for several hours.
The girl's father said, "I woke up to drink water around 1 am and found her missing. We searched her a lot but in the morning some villagers informed us about her death". Perhaps she had gone to attend nature's call and must have been kidnapped, he added.
Police said, we suspect she was raped and murdered.
