Kochi: A family dispute turned bloody when two wives of a person attacked each other at Kalamasserry.
According to police, the incident occurred when Muhummed Ali's second wife identified as Shahana, 29, was alone in the house. Ali's first wife Sunitha, 38, barged into the house and attacked Shahana.
She allegedly forced Shahana to drink posion. When Shahana protested, she bit her ears and also tried to strangulate her using a cloth.
Shahana was admitted to a hospital and doctors also confirmed that no poison had entered the body.
Police has registered a case after the victim lodged a complaint.
