Lucknow: A 5-year old girl was found dead in Vivek Khand area on Monday. The postmortem examination reports showed no dog bites on the victim body.
The reports suggests that the girl was raped and brutally stabbed 60 times including eight deep wounds. Private parts were also found ruptured and lacerated.
Though multiple injuries were visible on the victim's body, police said the girl was attacked by stray dogs.
A doctor said "such a murder can be committed only by a drug addict or psychopath. It seems the assailant was deriving some kind of pleasure by inflicting wounds on innocent child".
It appears that the girl was abducted by the assailant while she was asleep or dragged away while she was out to attend nature's call.
The postmortem report mentioned that the girl was murdered after 1 am and the body was found 400 metres from the residence.
It appears that the assailant held her in captivity for an hour and kept inflicting wounds with a sharp-edged weapon like a knife.
Tear was also noticed in victim's perineum. Only a plastic bangle was found on victim's wrist while no clothes were present on the body.
