Their argument in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, was seriously
heating up when they realized the best way to cool it all down was to
take off their clothes.
Stunned passersby and drivers watched as first the man, then his girlfriend, shed their duds.
It seems the literal airing of their dirty linen in public dampened their animosity.
They were later spotted hugging and walking away together.
"The couple started to quarrel at the roadside, then moved to the middle of the street," said witness Jiang Dayu who took snaps of the quarrelling couple.
"They completely ignored the traffic that was driving past even though
people were beeping their horns and having to weave around them."
