Alwar: A two-year old girl suffocated to death after her parents locked her inside a closed car and went off for shopping for an hour.
Police said Ishtaq Khan and his wife Unnas locked the kids Mahima (2), Parwana (3) and Farhan, their 5-year-old nephew, in Ramgarh town on Friday evening.
The children started banging the windows of the car after the couple didn't returned after an hour. Some passerby saw the children and tried to break the window.
Khan and his wife also reached by then. The children were rushed to a hospital where doctors declared Mahima dead.
Parwana and Farhan were admitted to the ICU and later referred to a hospital in Alwar where the condition of the both the children remain serious.
