A vicious gang rape left a teen girl unconscious and bloody, with burns and bruises across her body. A group of about 20 teen boys and young men had beaten, dragged and urinated on the 16-year-old — or watched and said nothing.

She was found without panties and pantyhose, her purple dress hiked up around her body. Beside a pool of vomit, she was soaked in brandy that the attackers poured over her.

The authorities said, that is what happened outside a Richmond, Calif., high school dance in 2009. The jurors agree.

Two young men were found guilty. Jose Montano, 22, and Marcelles Peter, 20, showed little emotion as the Contra Costa County judge announced that two separate juries reached guilty verdicts for all charges they faced: rape in concert, oral copulation in concert and sexual penetration with a foreign object in concert.

These convictions could result in 33 years to life in prison.

At one point during the assault that may have lasted over two hours, he added, the young men used the girl's cellphone to call her father and taunt him about the girl's sexual abilities also.

Seven men were initially arrested in connection with the incident. One defendant was dismissed during a preliminary hearing.

Two other men, Ari Morales and Manuel Ortega, already pleaded guilty. They are serving 27 and 32 years in prison respectively. Two more men still await trial.
