A fashion designer was found dead in a room of a guest house under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday afternoon. According to the police, deceased was identified as Lubna Mahamood (28) who hails from Kanpur and was staying as a paying guest at Sector 27.
Mahmood, who was from Kanpur, was a designer at a private firm in Noida.She checked-in at Corporate Residency, a guest house at Sector 27, with her friend Shahbaz M Deshmukh on Tuesday.
They gave their document at the guest house and posed as husband and wife. Shabaz, who was last seen on Tuesday night has been absconding since then.
Police officials say that Lubna and Shabaz were friendly with each other for over a year and were soon to be married. Police officials are now on the lookout for Shabaz.
Officials of guest house said that it was at around 2:30 pm when room service guy reached their room he found couple was not opening the door. Guest house staff opened the door with a duplicate key when they found woman lying on the bed with froth coming out of her mouth and blood from her nose.
She was then rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.

Investigations are on and her body has been sent for post mortem to know the exact cause of death.
