The decomposed body of a girl was found stuffed into the toolbox
of a school bus in Gurgaon.
Tthe victim has been identified as Shivani
alias Priya (19), a native of Mahendragarh district in Haryana. She lived with
her aunt in Gurgaon village.
The bus was hired by Shalom Hills
International School .
However, the school management said it had nothing to do with the incident.
Investigators said the girl's family had not lodged any missing complaint.
Police said, "we have made the breakthrough by
identifying the victim and many other facts from the bus which may help crack
this case". The police are also suspecting her neighbours' involvement in
the case.
As the school was closed due to weekend and Raksha Bandhan
for four days, the bus was parked bus in a vacant area in Sector 5," a
police officer said.
The driver discovered the body in the toolbox when he could
not re-start the bus and sought help from passers-by.
"There could be a possibility that the woman was raped
before being murdered. The actual cause of death will be known after the
postmortem," an investigator said. It is suspected that the girl had been murdered two-three days ago.
