A woman in eastern China murdered her
husband and boiled the corpse to cover her tracks after he abused her
and her daughter, a report said Saturday.
The woman said she was avenging years of torture committed by her husband who also abused her daughter. He was her second husband. She first drugged him and tortured him for three days before killing him. She refused him food and water and regularly beat him till he died. The woman then cut up his body and boiled his parts in a cooker to hide the murder. The psychological burden of the crime proved too much for her to bear, causing her to lose 14 pounds (6.3 kilograms) and turn herself into police, according to the report.
