Kolkata: A 13-year old schoolgirl was gang-raped and murdered on Monday and her body was found lying in a bamboo grove.
The girl was returning from school at around 3 pm, when it started raining. The girl took shelter in a railway shed.
A boy from neighborhood, Bimal Sardar(22), offered to share his umbrella with her and walk her home.
Later two other men known to Bimal joined them and dragged the girl into bamboo grove, raped her and then killed her.
Bimal was arrested but the other two accused involved in the crime are absconding.
In this case, the innocent girl had been attacked so viciously that her thigh bone had been broken.
