Police in Kafue have arrested a couple for allegedly assaulting and forcing their 15 year old son to swallow a condom.
Police said in a statement the incident happened after the boy failed to obey his step father’s instructions to stop playing footballs made out of condoms.
“The accused have been identified as Samson Nkosi aged 27 and Doris Kaswilili aged 26. It is alleged that Ms Kaswilili accused the victim who happens to be her step son of being a nuisance. They both descended on him by beating and later forced him to swallow a condom,” Ms Kanjela said.
The father, a Zambia National Service officer discovered that his son had continued playing with the condom balls, decided to punish him by breaking his leg and allegedly making him swallow a condom.
She said the duo suspects have been arrested and charged with assault and Child abuse contrary.
