Sneha Singh, 25, Ranchi's first radio jockey was found hanging from the ceiling of a hotel room in Munger district in Bihar.
She entertained radio listeners of Jharkhand from 2008 to 2010. She had been working for a non-government organization in Bihar for the past few months.
Body has been sent for the post-mortem. Things will be more clear after the reports, said Navin Chandra Jha, superintendent of police, Munger.
From the call details of her mobile, police learnt that she had last conversed with a close friend for more than an hour. We have talked to the friend she had last talked to, Jha said.
She had done her graduation from St Xavier's College and one of the department head said, it is a shocking incident. She was a brilliant student and an ambitious girl.
A close friend of Sneha, she was not a girl who would commit suicide. She was a person who would fight for the truth till the end.
Forensic team of Bihar police is also gathering evidence from her hotel room.
