A local court in Ghaziabad has sentenced a teacher Mukesh to 10 years of imprisonment for raping his orphaned niece for 18 years.
Mukesh adopted the minor daughter of his sister-in-law after her parents passed away.The girl had alleged Mukesh started raping her when she was in class IX and continued it for 18 years.
Mukesh even
mounted pressure on her to have physical relationship with him even after she was married to a man in Jaipur.
The girl narrated the ordeal to her husband, who later approached the court.
The case has been referred to Modinagar police station in Ghaziabad.
